ALAB is an Artificial Breeding and Stallion centre focusing on Equine reproduction. ALAB has been established by Tristan Starr and Mathew Holz in the Gippsland region of Victoria.
Tristan graduated from University of Sydney specialising in Reproduction and Artificial Breeding Technologies. She has worked for several years with some of the best Equine Reproductive Veterinarians and Technicians in Australia. During this time she also managed a Thoroughbred Stud in Northern Victoria concentrating on the breeding aspects and foal development.
Mat has been involved with Australian Stock Horses all his life, from competing to breeding and breaking in. His extensive knowledge and experience with stallions and foals is a valued asset to ALAB Mat also worked as the Assistant Manager/Breaker at the Thoroughbred Stud in Northern Victoria. He concentrated on Yearling Preparation, Breaking and Training of all the young horses.
ALAB is situated at our “Rarma Downs” property 1 hour Southeast of Melbourne.
